Setup Options

Most people shop with us because of the extensive quality control and final setup work we provide at no extra cost on all ukuleles we ship out. However this is time consuming work and creates a delay in shipping. We are now offering an "Expedited Setup" for those wanting to receive their instrument faster. See details on the Full Setup and Expedited Setup options along with current turnaround times for each at the link- HERE.

One of the options for this ukulele is to trade out the Herco, included humidifier, for the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area.(parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc..) or also areas with winter seasons, especially if you are heating the air most of the day and night. For more info see our Ukulele Care page

This comes from the factory with a High G but can be ordered with a low G (put in special instructions). This is a blog artictle discussing it if you are not sure whether you want  High or Low G?

Put a note in the special instructions if you need to or would like to let our setup or shipping department know anything.

really nice uke
Recently purchased this uke--a terrific uke at a relatively low price for an instrument of this quality. Pono's sound good and are easy to play. The LR Baggs 5.0 is amazingly good too. It is likely my personal problem but I could not get myself to drill a hole in the other good ukes I have--it seemed like sacrilege. The Pono I could.

The HMS crew are great to deal with and know what they are doing. If you are past the beginner stage of determining whether you are really going to play the uke, highly recommend getting a higher quality (more expensive) uke--It makes a world of difference in your playing--the more expensive ukes sound way better and are easier to play. The Pono's are a nice starting point and a great value for the money--not exactly what I did but what I recommend . Each good musical instruments is unique and as far as I am concerned you cannot have too many good instruments. If you love music, life is too short not to have good professional level instruments .
