Romero Creations - Spruce/Mahogany "Tiny Tenor"
- Product Review (submitted on April 2, 2015):
- I was looking for an instrument that wasn't too large that I could keep at my workplace and pull out during breaks to decompress with (which I find the Uke does very nicely). I've really enjoyed the size and tone of the Pono Tenor I have at home and wanted to have a similar tonal quality in a smaller package. I took a gamble a couple months ago with the Tiny Tenor (Spruce with Mahogany) and have been rewarded with an outstanding instrument. The more I play it the more I like it. It is very responsive allowing soft playing (necessary due to my location) but really projecting when I have the opportunity. The tone is rich, even and accurate along the entire fret board. The size is very, very comfortable. The gig bag it came with is eye catching and surprisingly protective though the pocket on it is a bit tight. All in all, I've been extremely pleased.
