This is one amazing instrument - which is really saying something as I'm quite conservative when I get asked to complete surveys. I've owned a Kala solid acacia uke for some time and this uke is totally so much better. It has a lovely mellow, yet full and rich tone. I had a set of Joel's strings fitted and thoroughly recommend them as well as the LR Baggs pick-up.
The Oahu tweed case is a great upgrade. It's a good fit, protecting the uke while showcasing the beautiful Koa.
As for customer service. Expect the email replies to be on the slow side but if you call them you'll get superb service. Everyone from Steve and Corey to Joel, Veronica and the packaging team are so knowledgeable and super helpful. They all went out of their way to ensure I got the instrument of my dreams and they delivered in every way. Thank you.
