The TM20 was the first Ukulele I bought, before I even knew HMS existed. (I bought a Kala Cedar Top from MGM about a week later.)
The only thing I found (past tense) less than stellar about the instrument was the tuners, which tended to be a bit flakey, but loved the sound and feel right out of the box.

I've had my TM20 for 3 years now, and the tuners are solid - I took it out of the case after not playing it for a month (I have a lot of ukuleles now!) and it was still in tune! Great intonation all the way up the neck to the 10th fret on all of the strings, and just a joy to play. Will it ever replace my KoAloha, Kala, Resonator, or Donaldson Custom? Nope. But I will bring it out to play gigs without worrying about bad sound, and if something happened to it, I would buy another one from HMS today.
