After playing for a few years and playing many ukuleles, I decided to purchase my dream ukulele. I tried many including Kamaka, and Koaloha. This Kanile'a was the best sounding and looking of the Hawaiian made koa ukes I tried.
The gloss finish is amazing and really brings out the look of the koa.
Playability is excellent with spot on intonation and a fabulous feeling fretboard.
However, it was the sound that sold me. This uke sounds as good as any ukulele I have ever heard.
