In my opinion, this is the best ukulele case out there for the money when you consider protection, weight, durability and yes, even aesthetics. I have taken this case on airplanes (even had to gate check it once - shudder), in the truck of my car, and to bars where it was bumped, jostled and spilled on throughout the evening and in every situation it did a great job protecting my uke. The outside has gotten a little scuffed up through it all (call it character) butthe case has held up to a decent amount of use and abuse without cracking and the latches remain in great shape too. The only quibble that some might have has to do with storage space but for me this is not an issue - I typically throw a tuner and extra set of strings in the interior pocket and then I also toss in a humidifier in next to my uke's headstock. Sheet music can go in a different bag. An excellent case overall.
