This is a marvelous soprano ukulele. Pono's build quality would be hard to beat in this price range. The acacia on mine is a light golden brown with pleasing chatoyance on the back and the finish is flawless. The tone sounds great to me and the projection is strong. This little box can really vibrate and sings out loud and clear when you feel like it, turn the volume down and it will almost whisper in your ear. It begs to be played. Oh, and the setup by HMS was great, as promised!
