Have a real Uke will start a revolution... 0 people found this helpfulI started to play my roommate's toy ukulele for fun a few weeks ago, and decided to buy my own after I learned a few songs. I just unpacked my order, and it is absolutely beautiful, fantastic sound and the set up is absolutely the best. I already have a wish list for an upgrade. HMS will be where I'd go first. I now dream of playing it all the time. I think I am going to bring it to work... and start a uke revolution.

It's all in the set up 1 people found this helpfulThis is a moderately low priced ukulele but you wouldn't know it when you played. The neck is a nice thickness, the frets were comfortably dressed and the action was superb. I thought the sound was very pleasant not brassy but clear and balanced. I bought this as a gift for my son who just started playing a few months back. He was thrilled and inspired to play. The setup on this Ukulele was phenomenal. The action was perfect. I purchased a $200 Ukulele from a different online music store and after a couple of months had to take it to my local luthier because the action was very bad. $50 bucks later it's now pleasant to play but still doesn't compare to the less expensive ukulele set up by HMS. Thanks to Andrew, Zach, Aaron and whoever did the work on this Ukulele. I'l never buy a ukulele anywhere else. ps The buffed finished on this glossy Kala Ukulele was gorgeous.
