    Description

    Details

This is the humidifier that we suggest to anyone getting a solid wood ukulele that lives in an extremely dry climate, or has periods of the year that get very dry, as in under 30% humidity. It is more effective than any other humidifier we have found and is made specially for any size ukulele.

    • The mounting system allows the humidifier to hang horizontally inside the ukulele rather than vertical (like the guitar humidifier).
    • Secondly, the humidity output is about 50% of the Royal Blue Oasis guitar humidifier, to accommodate the smaller instrument size. This also allows the humidifier to last twice as long between refills.

Hand-crafted in America, Oasis® is the best solution to the challenge of ukulele humidification. You have made a significant investment in a quality instrument and it is important to protect that. It is far less expensive to have an effective, easy to use guitar humidifier than it is to repair a cracked instrument. Give Oasis® a try and you will see how well it works!

Great Humidifier! You will need it in Italy!
I've buy two of these (one for the Koaloha Opio and one for the Koaloha KCM) and I'm really happy with these! The humidity is always about 50-55 %

    they work
Expensive little humidifier, but they work. Everything Oasis is over priced.
That said, they are quality pieces and keep my ukes at a very constant humidity level while in their cases. I plan on building a large glass case to hang the ukes in, and for easier access. When that happens, will switch over to cigar humidor humidification units.

    A must have accessory
The Oasis Uke humidifier is a must have accessory hear in New England during the winter. Our heat is so dry that it endangers our ukes. The Oasis is easy to use and last about 2 week before it needs refilling. Very well made and I never worry about any leaking.

This is my favorite humidifier, and I have bought one for each of my ukes. It is very easy to use and refill, as well as small and portable. My favorite aspect is the way it visibly shrinks up when it is time to refill it with more water.

    A Must For Winter Weather
I live in Canada (although not quite in an igloo), and when winter comes around, my ukuleles don't stand a chance. That is, unless I have an Oasis Humidifier. These humidifiers are very easy to use: just fill it with water and hang it from the strings inside the body of the ukulele. You can even tell when you need to refill it when the humidifier shrivels up, which removes a lot of the guess work. I highly recommend this to anyone with a solid wood ukulele living in a cold, dry climate.

I use this in my Pono AT in New England during the winter. It's a little annoying keeping it in the strings, but that's a small price to prevent cracking. I end up refilling it about once a week.

    Economical and effective
I live in a city apartment in Canada and in the winter it's dry. Dry dry dry dry dry, I run two humidifiers in the apartment, and every instrument I own has at least one humidifier. I've tried several different kinds. This one is a great balance of effective humidification and also cost effective. It's easy to see when to refill with water and replacement gel caps are available to take you into the next season.

    Great Humidifier
This does the job well. It doesn't leak, and the thing I like most about it is that I can see when it needs a refill. The provided syringe makes it easy to fill. I currently have two and will be buying them for all of my new solid wood ukuleles.

Great Design - Need it in the Northeast!
I ordered the OH18 with my Pono AT. Living in the north east I am aware how dry it can be, especially in the winter. The OH18 is easy to use (although a bit awkward to get inside the uke). I also have a Herco clay humidifier which I use as well since it is still difficult to get the humidity inside the uke above 35% in our dry environment. I highly recommended buying the Oasis Hygrometer to double check your humidity. Unfortunately HMS doesn't sell them however.

I love the way it shows you when it needs more water! I have other styles but this one is the easiest to use and comes with a string hanger and syringe filler. It is worth the small extra cost if when you invest in a solid wood instrument.

A "must have" for all of your Ukes
I bought a used Ko olua tenor T100 in great shape and purchased and Oasis Ukulele Himidifer for it, The Oasis Humidifier would take about 2 weeks in the summer and about 3 weeks in the winter between refills. During that time the tenor sound seems to fill out and mature. With the Oasis Humidifier my ukulele stays in tuned right out of the case. Easy to use and fill, a must for all of your ukes,

    A Humidifier is Key
Anyone who moves up to the solid wood categories of ukuleles, or even just any wood instrument in general must have a humidifier. The Oasis is a very small and low profile humidifier. It's absolutely amazing. I even used it for my violin for a little while when I need to get a new one. It's very easy to use and it keeps your ukulele in top shape and saves it from cracking and all the nightmares of a musician.

    Easy to use, works great
I've tried just about every humidifier out there. I bought the Oasis when I purchased my Pono MPTSH and it works great. It is simple and easy to use. No more soaking, no more squeezing out excess moisture, no more drips that can damage the instrument--just fill it with distilled water, replace to cap and you're good to go. Refill it when it shrinks up;no guesswork. It is a little awkward to get in and out of the strings, but no big deal. It works so well, I bought one for each of my guitars and another ukulele. It is money well spent to protect a solid wood instrument and keep it properly humidified.

A good product but the cost seems high to me. Also, this product was too large to use the included attachment accessories for my soprano uke case. That being said, I made it work. I have one for each of my ukuleles (3 humidifiers) and all work well.

Proof it's working? Just look at it.
I live in Northern California and quite honestly never realized how dry the winters are. I upgraded to the Oasis when I got my Pono MT-SHC-S - Tenor Pro Classic and I'm glad I did. The Oasis started to shrink into itself in about a week and that was all the proof I needed that this is a must have for solid tonewood ukuleles in NorCal. It's easy to use, made specifically for ukes, and gives peace of mind that I'm doing the right thing for my tenor.

I have been using these for 3 years. They are easy to use and to refill. I like the fact that they are hanging suspended inside the ukuleles. It is very obvious when they need to be replenished with distilled water. I live in a desert, and these units do a fine job.

    Very pleased.
I live in Nevada where it is dry all of the time. I got this to protect my Pono AT-E. It works very well. I refill it every week and I have had no problems with cracking or fingerboard shrinkage. The provided syringe works very well. The humidifier dose have the tendency to fall into the body of the instrument if you keep it in while carrying your case around. So I put it in a compartment in the case when I carry my uke around. I do think this humidifier is a bit overpriced, but it is worth it if you live in a very dry climate.

    Best thing for Koa Ukuleles
I live in California. In the winter months when it is cold and rainy outside, our house is kept warm and DRY. I have three Koa ukuleles and use one in each of their cases. I use them year round. What I like about it, is you know when you need to refill them, they shrink. I highly recommend to anyone who has an ukulele made of fine wood.

    wrong size?
The Oasis humidifier works really well. Easy to fill, humidifies adequately even on a recent trip to Arizona (fill it every 5 days). My only complaint is that I seem to have been sent one for a guitar, not uke, so it is too long to fit in my uke when filled. Not that big a deal as it does last longer I just have to kind maneuver it around to get it in the body of the uke.

Humidifier made solely for the Ukulele
I have a custom Kanile'a Tenor, which is not cheap, so I wanted the best humidifier I could find since I live in an extremely dry and cold climate. And prior to buy this product I had searched for a humidifier that would correctly fit my uke, but to no avail, until I stumbled on to this one. This is the perfect humidifier for my uke that will not scratched the sides of the sound hole like the others can. It comes with a syringe what you use to inject water into the tube that is full of gel like balls (humigel) that absorb the water which you can see shrink down so over time this is what they mean when you can gauge when it needs a refill. Overall, I think it is a great humidifier, but I think 20 bucks is a bit steep for something so small. Other than that I have no problems yet, but I have only had it for a few months.

    The best way to Humidify
I live on the west coast of Canada and it usually a struggle here to keep things dry, but I bought one of these to throw in my case during the winter months when there is some heating on. It takes a long time for the humidifier to dry out here but I would imagine it would be faster in the desert. It is pretty small and would work well on most ukuleles (It's still a bit big on sopranos, but still fits).

Next best thing to having a humidified room!
I have purchased this humidifier for every solid wood uke that has come into (or left) my collection. More than 40 purchased so far.
I have check humidity in the cases and these handy little humidifiers are low effort and very consistent. I have had a couple break at the seam but it is not common and they were 5+ years old so I didn't mind.
I even keep two in my guitar case.
I live in a cold climate with dry heat. These keep my instruments safe.

I live in Idaho which is a very dry desert climate. I bought one of these and I love it I have no complaints about it . I love that I can go two to three weeks with out having to refill this. It doesn't work well to hang it from the strings if you are going to be moving it. You can here it rattling around inside the instrument. I just usually keep it in the case. If you live in a dry climate I highly recommend one of these for your instrument.

    Excellent Humidifier
I think it's a no brainer: If you get a solid wood ukulele, you need to protect that investment. Fixing a cracked ukulele is way harder/more $$, than preventing it.

I live in Canada and our winters can be very dry. But it's good to have a humidifier no mater where you life and especially if you plan on ever traveling with your uke.

This particular humidifier is the best I've used. I used to use another type that you soaked in water and left in by the headstock in the case. That one worked well, but the Oasis is better in that it: Fits where you need it most (directly in the sound hole, visually shows you when to refill it.

I highly recommend this humidifier, but ANY humidifier is better than none. Make sure you have one if your getting a solid wood uke.

    The Standard for Uke Humidifiers
The oasis humidifier is pretty simple and very effective. Fill it up with water (not tap) and hang it between the strings of your instrument or if you're lazy like me just toss it in the case with you uke and it'll do the job (keeps the humidity in my case around 48%). I've never come across one that leaked or damaged my instrument and they've all been fairly reliable. A good way to help protect the investment you've made in a solid body uke.
