Pictured Ukulele Now Available!

This is one of the best tenors you will find!! Tons of volume and clarity, easy to play, and 100% Hawaiian!

The KoAloha sound and feel is entirely unique to their line of instruments. Mr. Alvin Okami and his son Paul have developed their own bracing, designs, and at times, completely new instruments. They have approached ukulele making like artists and have given us a wonderful sounding koa ukulele in each size. Here in Hawaii the tenor size is the most popular. Many of KoAloha’s endorsed artists play this model, like Herb Ohta Jr., Raiatea Helm and tons of others. We guarantee that you will love the radiant sounds from this splendid Hawaiian-made koa tenor!

If you had yours eyes open for a good Hawaiian-made instrument, this one sounds great, feels great, and as you can see is a beautiful instrument. Video shows same model.

This is a tenor-sized instrument and comes with a case.

We are selling this model with a canvas-covered hard case and humidifier included!

Extra Options

One of the options for this ukulele is to trade out the Herco HE-360 included humidifier for the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18 or OH-5+) at a discount. This is required if you live in a low humidity area (parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc.) or also areas with winter seasons, especially if you heat the air in your house. For more info refer to the Ukulele Care link at the bottom of this page. If you think you need to humidify the instrument, then you also need a hard case for a humidifier to properly work, and you need to maintain the humidifier by refilling it as needed.

After adding this instrument to your cart, you can still create your own package by adding a case or accessories from the website.

Under the Accessories tab you can also customize this instrument by adding strap button(s) or your choice of pickup for plugging in. We recommend either the MiSi or the LR Baggs pickup for this ukulele.

Beautiful instrument!
I had been researching Hawaiian-made tenor ukeleles for some time, and was recently introduced to the HMS site. I was very impressed with the variety of instruments available, and especially the video demonstrations by Corey and Aaron. I put a list together of the instruments built by the "K" companies that I would be interested in, and reviewed the photos and specifications to the point of exhaustion! I finally decided to phone and spoke with Aaron who was very patient and down to earth regarding the features of each ukelele and the type of music I like to play. I was leaning toward either the Kanilea K1 or the Koaloha KTM-00. Both are very beautiful and made by well-respected Hawaiian companies. I ended up purchasing the Koaloha and received it about a week ago. Shipping was quick to the west coast, and when I opened the package, I was blown away by the beauty of the Koa wood and the detailed craftsmanship. Never having played a uke with a low G string, I was entranced by the warm, deep resonance this provided. This ukelele sings of Hawaii with every strum! I am so glad that I chose this model, and I hope that my playing will someday be deservant of such a beautiful work of art. Thank you, HMS, for all of your assistance and patience in helping me make, what turned out to be, a great decision.
