Options We can customize your order in many ways. Of course, there are the add-on packs to choose from on instruments without a package. And plenty of accessories to choose from. If you prefer a certain string set that the ukulele does not come with, then buy the strings you want from strings section of the site, and let us know in the custom note you can fill out at checkout. We will charge no extra to restring it. If you simply want your instrument to be a low g instead of high we will not charge any extra. If you are not sure then check out this video blog Comparing Hi G with Low G Other options include a Passive pickup which is able to be installed in most ukuleles. When you buy a uke we give a better deal and it runs you $100. This is the 4 individual crystal piezo under saddle Pono Pickup and has an excellent clean tone without to much gain in the lower range that makes a uke sound "thumpy". We also install the Misi Pickups and the L.R.Baggs active systems. On both we charge $200 for pickup and installation. Through the years we have installed most pickup brands on the market.

Nice collection of songs
This book has a nice selection of songs, and the photos scattered throughout the book are a nice touch. Like all books from Jumpin' Jim, there aren't tabs, so you have to work out the notes yourself. For a beginner this is a mixed blessing, it's more work, but I'm relearning how to read music which is better in the long run.

My only real complaint about the books is that some of the notes can't be played on a standard Hi-G tuned uke because they contain a low B. For strumming however the songs are great.

Be Sure to Check the Song List
This is a fun collection of songs from the 60s. The style is typical of the Jumpin' Jim's song book series, presenting the melody line, lyrics, and chords, along with some minimal play tips (chord charts, guide to transposing, etc.).

The song selection is rather heavy on the Beatles. There are a few songs that don't really fit with the flower power, love-in style cover design, e.g., Moon River and King of the Road.

Note that most, but not all, of the songs in the book also are in the much larger Daily Ukulele songbook, also from Jumpin' Jim Beloff.

The songs:

All My Loving
Build Me Up, Buttercup
Daydream Believer
Eight Days A Week
Georgy Girl
The Girl From Ipanema (Garรดta De Ipanema)
Happy Together
Here Comes The Sun
I Will
King Of The Road
Mellow Yellow
Moon River
Penny Lane
Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head
(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay
Surfer Girl
Those Were The Days
Tip-Toe Thru' The Tulips With Me
Under The Boardwalk
When I'm Sixty-Four
With A Little Help From My Friends
Yellow Submarine

Fun book
I bought this book as I love the Beatles songs. This is a fun book to own. The songs sound like the songs are supposed to sound. Fun!
