This instrument is 100% Hawaiian Made by the Kanilea's master builders here on the island of Oahu using the finest Koa wood. It has ebony wood binding and faceplate for a natural sharp look.

One of the cool features of this instrument is that it has sand from Kailua beach used for the headstock logo and fingerboard dots. This is something that Kanile'a has only done for the 50th year state anniversary model previous to the PE. You can see the grains of sand sparkle as you look closely. Talk about getting a piece of the islands...

Options	We are giving a deluxe wooden Case that fits perfectly. Extra Options The Herco HE360, is the included humidifier. You can upgrade to the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area.(parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc..) including cold winter areas if you are heating the air most of the day and night.
