These are pro performance tenors from the renown Hawaiian Ukulele Custom Shop, Ko’olau. If you would like a great tenor for performance, recording, or practice purposes, this Ko’olau CE-1 is a fantastic choice! Comes with an extremely nice case.!

The Ko’olau company is located in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. There is only a few builders in the shop that are all master craftsman. The custom quality and attention to detail make Ko’olau one of the finest musical instruments you can find!

The Ko’olau CE model is entirely unique to the Ko’olau line and has many advantages for any level of player. The main advantage of the CE is it’s custom designed L.R. Baggs active pickup system that Ko’olau worked with Mr. Lloyd Baggs on for quite some time to get it just perfect.

The body is chambered for extra resonance while plugged in, a lighter weight, and that chamboring gives it enough acoustic sound to enjoy and practice with it unplugged.

The CE has been used by many local professional musicians because of it’s feedback resistance, big warm sound, and extremely smooth feel.

From there you can choose Koa or Myrtle wood, and upgrade for higher figured woods (curly, flame, quilt) if you want. Other options include no fret markers on the fingerboard face.
