Options

Includes a canvas-covered case and a Herco HE-360 Humidifier. The options are just for convenience and to offer an extra discount while you buy such a beautiful instrument.

One of the options for this ukulele is to trade out the Herco included humidifier for the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18 or OH-5+). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area (parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc.) including cold winter areas if you heat the air in your home. For more info see our Ukulele Care link at the bottom of the site.

You can still create a package with additional accessories on the site by going to different product pages and adding items to your cart.

Aloha!

Koaloha T2 Soprano with Tenor Neck
Very impressive! I have a couple of Collings, a couple Mya-Moes. a Kamaka, and a Martin cherry. The are ALL wonderful, but the T2 is the surprise of the bunch. Wonderful to play - very comfortable because of tenor neck. Great soprano sound. Perhaps the loudest of the bunch. It cuts through wonderfully, while losing nothing tone-wise. I have tried it with both high and low g. The jury is still out, but it sounds great both ways. Money very well spent.

Perfect ukulele
The koaloha long neck soprano ukulele has the great sound of the soprano ukulele but it is as easy to play af the tenor or concert ukulele. The best ukulele I have ever bought.

Very hard to put down!
I own several guitars and another brand tenor ukulele. Because I play in a ukulele band consisting mostly of baritones and tenors, I wanted to have the sound of a soprano in the mix. This little uke is truly wonderful in its playability, tone, balance and volume. I had HMS put in a pick up and it is wonderful also. Another member of our group also purchased one, because she loved mine!

Tenor neck is different than the concert-necked soprano in a few ways
Love this purchase from Hawaii Music Supply. Comparing it to a longneck concert fretboard soprano body, I have reached a couple of conclusions.

I got a tenor necked model (first link above) because I already own tenors and am familiar with that fret spacing. I wanted a soprano sound, though, hence the soprano body. I think it's a swell combination. When I saw the ukulele on HMS with hard case, I was sold on it.

The tenor fretboard is dark mahogany (not light colored like the concert), it has the new small black geared tuners, the flat fretboard end (not scalloped), and (key to me) the new KoAloha tie-bridge (rather than the knotted bridge--I dislike knotted bridges very much for the damage that can be done from the knot). So, those features alone sold me on tenor over concert neck soprano, before even talking about sustain, loudness and extra frets.

I thought the only downside would be head heavy, and it does balance out at the 8th fret (most tenors cannot balance on the fretboard at all--they are all body heavy), but it doesn;t seem to affect play or holding as much as I thought. It seems to balance well, and I am surprised by this. I generally use a strap, though, for all my ukuleles. The sound samples with Corey here tell the story of this ukulele--it's heaven.
