KoAloha D-IV Hawaiian Koa Guitar-Lele!

This beautiful ukulele is made with solid Big Island Koa. The sound is stunning for a tenor size ukulele!

This ukulele is not your average ukulele. It has 6 strings and is tuned A-D-G-C-E-A. So the same on the high 4 strings but with two lower strings for making full guitar voicings. This is the same tuning as putting a Capo on the 5th fret of a guitar. Same shapes but the key is a 4th higher. The KoAloha D-VI is very easy to play for a guitar player or an ukulele player wanting to add more range to their playing.

 

This is a tenor sized instrument and comes with a tenor hardshell case. All of the guitar players at the shop are lovin’ the feel and sound of this KoAloha. Mike gives us a demo and some thoughts on it above and here Zach tunes it a step down and tries a new original.~
