Picture and videos show the unique and beautiful tenor now available to you (if it says "In Stock").
The top is a bearclaw spruce soundboard, known to have increased density improving the acoustic properties of the wood. Not only bearclawed it also has extreme silking you can see from this old growth Sitka. This gives a light, stiff top that projects deep tones with lots of clarity and sustain. Framing off the top and back is super curly Hawaiian koa and it protected with a perfect nitrocellulose finish. This beautiful wood is accented by a turquoise recon stone rosette that's also used for the headstock logo.
The back and sides are a rare curly Hawaiian grown Cuban mahogany from our island, and it's accented beautifully with premium curly koa bindings. It's finished by the other phenomenal luthier at Ko'olau, Ryan Condon, with a perfect nitrocellulose gloss finish body and satin nitrocellulose neck for smooth sliding. It is built using only hide glue, is light in weight and super vibrant and warm sounding. This is the finest quality wood and craftsmanship. Kalei gives us a sound sample.Learn More
