This new Pro Classic from Pono is one of the best sounding and looking baritones you'll find! These premium tone woods give an excellent balance, clarity, and sustain! Kalei gives a raw sound sample of this cedar top, Macassar ebony sides and back, slothead Pono Pro Classic baritone.
Macassar ebony is one of the premier exotic woods used in high end custom acoustics. It's more expensive than most koa wood because of its rarity, gorgeous looks, and musical quality. Western red cedar gives warmth and power. Together these woods, along with a quarter sawn Honduran mahogany neck, make for a truly excellent baritone ukulele.
Curly maple wood binding gives a beautiful contrast to the striped ebony. An abalone rosette adds to the tasteful adornment.
This model, like all new Pro Classics from Pono, has a radius fingerboard. It's not an extreme radius, and it's hardly noticeable until pointed out. But it adds to the comfort of play. We must warn you, if you get this instrument, your others may get ignored. It's a treat in every way!
The truss rod advantage. The newer, higher quality Pono case. Many things give value to the Pro Classics. Namely, it is the musical quality and reliability. This is the top of the line baritone. We think you're gonna love it!
Comes with Hardshell Case.
