Micah Bruce is the master luthier behind this beautiful custom tenor ukulele. While it's one of the first from this exciting new line, Micah has been a professional luthier for the last decade. He built for Collings Guitars for many years, has his own custom guitar line, and is one the main Martin warranty repairmen for Nebraska. This one resembles a classic guitar style with a fantastic light burst spruce top and the handmade tortoise pickguard. This matches the gorgeous colors and curls of this Hawaiian koa. Building in Nebraska, Bruce teamed up with Rob Li and ʻĀina Racoma from Hawaii, who had a desire to build Hawaiian style tenors at the highest level, to make the Hapa Ukulele, the mix of Haole and Hawaiian. It makes a beautiful creation with this ukulele.

  7. Rebel Limited Edition Spruce Acacia Tenor (PLUTO-00)
    $1,695.00

This is the latest limited edition custom from Rebel. It has a really cool and beautiful look and the sound is out of this world! This is the Pluto model and Rebel is only making 10 of them. This is the first one and it sounds fantastic!

Corey gives us a look and listen.

Pluto is a spin-off from the previous NEO series. We strive for minimalist and elegant styles. There was only a handful made and each one has unique fretboard materials. We used composite stone for inlay and we kept it clean and simple. Binding added to the look but the most important thing is the tone and playability that we never compromise. Engelmann spruce and premium curly acacia is a perfect combination to bring out the tone we were looking for. This model comes with a custom leather tag with the Pluto symbol pressed on it. A limited collection for those who like to look up at the night sky and wonder. We recommend playing it outdoor at night and listening to the sound of the universe that always embraces us.

This custom tenor is light in weight and with a resonance that will astound you. The top is Englemann spruce which is known for its warm bass response and great projection.
