This is the Kala Elite Series 3 concert. The 3 Series has premium koa wood, ebony fretboard, bridge, and faceplate, and custom Kala tuners with acacia wood buttons. The sound is big and bright with a vintage styled voicing. It has a comfy feel all the way up the neck and the wider 1.5" nut width many like.
This also has the new X bracing from Kala and the voice is bigger and warmer than ever! This is one of the best concerts you'll find and we are happy to offer such a great uke at a very reasonable price for the quality.

This is shown off beautifully but their gloss finish, the same UV finish that other companies like Kanile'a or Taylor Guitars uses. It's a smooth glassy perfect finish and Kala keeps the neck satin for smooth sliding and comfort. The koa on this one is extra gorgeous and curls as you move it in the light.
This ukulele is considerably more expensive than any of Kala's imports but it's still a great value because of its musical quality and the craftsmanship put into it.
