The Romero is my second ukulele. My first is a tenor, but was sub $200 and I wanted something better than that one. I am still a beginner (less than six months playing). The sound of the Romero is excellent and it has a lot of resonance compared to my other ukulele. Really, no comparison. At first it was a little difficult to get used to the Romero, but now I am used to it and I have to say that I love it. I want to play it all of the time. I am now thinking about buying a Romero Concert for my wife whom also plays the Ukulele. I recommend this Ukulele.
