This is the uke that lives nest to my easy chair. Fantastic tone and volume and frets with just the whisper of a touch. The body is slightly oversize (12 frets to the body), yet it still fits in all my tenor cases (albeit just barely in one instance). Pros to Pepe Romero for making his design available in a production ukulele that (for solid wood and Pepe’s proprietary fan bracing design) is amazingly affordable.
