This was my first mahogany ukulele, and I was surprised to find how much I love it! I always preferred the sound of koa, but this has such a sweet voice. The setup is perfect and helps make it an absolute joy to play. Even though it's a second, the fit and finish is absolutely beautiful - leaps above many other production ukuleles I've received that aren't marked as seconds. The blem is so small, it took me a long time to find it. It's definitely one of the best values in this price range.
