After gathering much information on tone woods and comparing many makes and models, I recently purchased this Acacia Tenor - Pro Classic. It was a terrific choice! I don't want to put it down and when I do, I find myself just admiring it. It has beautiful grain and coloration in the wood with a fit and finish that is exceptional for a production uke. This is my second Pono Pro Classic and the quality of these instruments is top-notch. I had HMS string this with low-G and it sounds terrific! It has a wonderful, warm tone with great balance and clarity. It's a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. With expert set-up and great service, I'll be back to HMS when I have saved up enough for my next ukulele.
