First off, hats off to the Ukulele Site for clear communication and beating their setup estimate. The packing job was pristine and the uke arrived in plenty of time for an upcoming trip.

The AT-D is my first Tenor after playing $80-200 sopranos for a couple of months. Let's just say it is in a different league. This thing is robust! Gorgeous finish, beautiful wood patterns, and hefty enough to make my other ukes feel like toys.

To my ears, the Acacia sound is glorious - the perfect middle ground between warmth and biting attack. Sounds amazing inside and outdoors.

It's no secret that the setup is fantastic as well -- in combination with the extra room on this tenor, barre chords are a breeze and general playability is head and shoulders above my other ukes.

My only gripe is with the wound C string it originally shipped with. Just sounded a little twangy and off to my ears, so I restrung with Fremont Blackline and am loving life.

This was a bit of a stretch for me, but wow what a payoff. Looking forward to playing and learning with this uke for years to come.
