I own a KoAloha concert, and it is wonderful. It is my main ukulele I take to jams as it has a very rich and full sound. Also, mine has so much volume that it EASILY keeps up with the tenor ukuleles all my friends play.

As a vintage ukulele player/collector, the KoAloha ukulele seems to be made in the tradition of earlier Hawaiian built ukuleles as opposed to mainland built ukuleles. It is light, lines are clean and simple, and the sound is powerful.

KoAloha doesn't "bling-up" their ukuleles with a thick glossy finish. The finish seems just right in that one can really feel the wood of the ukulele rather than a thick coat over the wood. I have a Kamaka, and vintage ukuleles from Martin, Favilla, Gibson, and others....and in my opinion, KoAloha is very much on the same level as far as quality and sound as those ukuleles.
