This is my first concert ukulele. I was shopping for a ukulele to practice on, that didn't need to be "molly coddled". The MC-4 fits the bill.
The sound is very good. It has a no frills look about it I like.
The case that comes with it, is very sturdy. It has a couple places for storage of odds and ends. Secures the ukulele very well.
You would be hard pressed, to find a better value for the money, on a laminate ukulele.
