Product Review (submitted on December 24, 2012):
I like this uke but the Kala Solid Mahogany Tenor is a much better sounding instrument, in my opinion, for a lot less money. Also a lot lighter.
The slot-head and acacia wood are cool and attractive but I'm not a fan of the curly-cue position markers. I think this would look great with no fretboard markers.
The weight of this uke is heavy and solid to me. I"m sure others will love this instrument but I just never connected with it.
