This was my first "proper" ukulele. I purchased it after finding HMS on the internet after a disappointing experience with a ukulele I bought from a big retailer.

I don't know how much of the quality comes from Kala and how much can be attributed to the set-up, but I do know it plays like butter and sounds really nice. It was a great starter ukulele for this beginner and still the most playable ukulele I own.
