I purchased the Pono AT back in May 2012. I really like the qualityof the build. I cannot find one flaw in construction or the finish. The acacia originally looked kind of plain with the satin finish but recently has started to look better I think that the darker streaks have become darker. (or maybe I am learning to play it better so it is looking prettier) You need to be careful as the finish is pretty thin and the uke gets dinged pretty easily. The sound is clear, the intonation is good, and the strumming sound has improved over these 7 months and I expect the overall sound to keep getting better and better. I changed the original strings several times and settled on Ko'olau Alohi's. Overall I think that this is a quality instrument that I will be playing for a long time.
