I was extraordinary impressed with instrument. It is incredibly loud, which I did not anticipate with mahogany and a gloss finish. I have it string with a low-g, and the miss and bass are outstanding. The tone I get is rich and warm and full, more like a small classical guitar than anything else. I think most ukulele players would prefer the tone with a high g. The finish had some very miniscule imperfections, as to be expected in this range of instrument. Over all, the asthetic is excellent, the dark woods and gold tuners really work well together. My instruments top had some nice figuring as well, prettier than most of the stock pictures I've seen. It plays as excellent ly as you would expect, having been set up by Hawaii music supply. Definitely a quality player. Extraordinary value.
