When I played the original Kala travel ukuleles at a local store, I was surprised how loud it could sing. Now I saw this new model with cutaway and salted maple, I couldn't resist.
This new model has rounder back compare to the original model, it gives even louder voice. And it sounds very beautiful.
The only down side is $100 difference between two models.
But if you want a cool looking travel uke, you wouldn't be disappointed.
