Kala KA-B Mahogany Baritone

I just received the Kala KA-B baritone uke from The Ukulele Site ("TUS") this afternoon. I did not order a gig bag or case with it so I was impressed by the care taken to wrap and pad the uke in a separate box within the exterior shipping box. This uke is beautiful with stunning wood grain, classy satin finish and attractive white binding. The setup by TUS was great. Fret ends are smooth, action is low, and intonation is excellent. This uke has wonderful resonance and sustain. The voice is deep (and loud) offering a nice contrast to quieter concert and tenor ukes. This KA-B came strung with Aquila New Nylgut strings (D-G-B-E) with wound D and G strings as on acoustic guitars. This very affordable uke is a pleasure to play. I'm very glad I bought it from TUS.
