The rich warm sound of my Luna Tattoo Tenor is much more to my liking than that of my Pono MT that was almost three times the cost. Both are strung with Aquila Super Nylgut high G strings. The Luna, being a laminate uke, is much lighter to hold than the Pono which is solid wood.
