This ukulele works great with a high or low G. Video shows it with an Aquila red low G.
We set up each instrument to ensure you get the absolute best for your money! This includes Saddle and Nut heights, Fretwork and intonation checks, and a thorough inspection for cosmetic flaws. And always, we are dedicated to giving you honest and expert service and advice!
We always include a humidifier with solid wood instruments. This is not an option, and we do not charge for it. However, if you live in a cold or dry climate please upgrade to the oasis humidifier.

I first went to my local music store and all they had were the little Makalas, which are fine, but not what I was looking for. I looked over the site and listened to the demos about a thousand times and just kept coming back to this model. I was hesitant about buying an instrument without having the chance to play it first, but with all your great reviews I finally decided to go for it. I couldn't be happier! This is a beautiful uke that sounds amazing...even when I play it. My local shop just got in a shipment of about 100 ukes including a couple of solid Koas in the $2000 range so I had a chance to compare. This one blew them all away. Thanks Eli for the great job setting this up for me. I can't recommend you guys enough. I'm going to stop rambling now and go play my uke!

This uke can bark, growl, mellow out, and sing a tune! 0 people found this helpfulThis ukulele just sings. It's more gorgeous in person than in the photos and with a beautiful tone that I would describe as bell-like with a guitar-like flavor. I went to the North Carolina ukulele academy in Wilmington, NC and they had over 400 ukes to try. This one sounded the most well-rounded to me even against the $2000 solid koa's. It can bark, growl, mellow out, and sing a tune. I can't recommend this uke enough. I was between this uke and the Kala KA-ASAC-T solid acacia model. Same price but the acacia model wouldn't project enough for me. It was too quiet. This one has projection to spare plus a preamp system too (I am planning to play on stage) but even without plugging it in it sounds spectacular.

The set-up on this Uke was about as good as it gets! 0 people found this helpfulKALA came up with a beautiful Uke in appearance and quality, but I think I would run out of adjectives trying to describe what a great set-up The Ukulele Site...Hawaii Music Supply (Joel or Chris ?) did on this Uke! I have a collection of Ukes, one that costs about 3 times the price of this KALA, but this one, with the GREAT set-up, doesn't take a back seat to any of them! The intonation is right on the money and playability is just perfect. IF you're thinking about getting a Uke, no matter what price range, BUY IT HERE! The set-up they do will make a good Uke a GREAT ONE! THANKS JOEL OR CHRIS.!
