Uke Logic string sets are made from high quality "super fluorocarbon" aka Super-Carbon. A high-density formula of fluorocarbon that is tonally different from the average fluorocarbon ukulele string. Uke Logic string sets are available as all-plain Super-Carbon and additional options are available for players who prefer metal wound strings in combination with Super-Carbon.

As much as I loved Ko’olau Aho strings.. 4 people found this helpful..these are absolutely next level. I have all of my ukes strung with Uke Logic All-Carbon High G sets. I flipped back between the soft version a lot - the projection and tone is better with these every time. After trying dozens of sets for a decade, Andrew released Ko’olau Ahos. I started religiously using the Ko’olau Aho All Plain High G sets, until Uke Logics dropped and I was able to A/B’d them. As Uke Logic creator Joel put it: “In terms of diameter, the Aho's are .024"(G) .032"(C) .028"(E) .022"(A), my hard tension set is .025"(G) .036"(C) .028"(E) .023"(A). It's a little tricky to compare, in terms of diameter the Aho's are basically the G and C from the soft tension uke logic set mixed with the hard tension E and A, but the uke logic strings are a higher density fluorocarbon than the Aho so there is still a difference in the overall size=tension ratio.” These even bring muted ukuleles back to life. Just a beast of a set for overall balance, volume, tone, and feel. I initially had a little string noise using the fleshy part of my thumb to pick, but I assure you this goes away as you use them. Joel even made me a custom harder set to tune a long neck tenor to a high-D baritone tuning with great success. Therein lies the best part of this set, with higher tensions opens up the ability to tune down and experiment with alternate tunings. Try them in B, B flat, or even A tunings and tell me your mind isn’t blown.. I dare ya’

Hard fluorocarbons is an apt description 1 people found this helpfulI just strung my Pono MTDX with these hard-tension, fluorocarbon, high-g, pink Logic strings. So far, so good. To call them hard fluorocarbons is a perfect description. If you like Oasis strings, for example, but find them a bit soft these might be your ticket. I might compare the feel to D'Addario Nylon (which I found to be too dull) or Aquila Sugars (they certainly feel like the Sugars) but I find the Logic strings have a tone and volume I like much more. If you prefer Aquila Red or, to a lesser extent, Worth Brown, you'll notice these strings are a bit warmer.

Good Strings. Worth Trying. 2 people found this helpfulI wanted to write a review on these since more people seem to be opting for the soft tension, but these are also a great option. I bought these to replace the Worth Clears on my Koaloha KCM-00. The have a really pleasant feel, and I like how the tension is reminiscent of guitar strings. Still really playable and comfortable though. If anything, I would say it is possible that the dynamic range on these strings is marginally less than the Worth strings, but its very difficult to tell. If you really want to articulate notes, eliminate fret buzz, or enjoy playing fingerstyle then I would say these are a great choice. Nice work on these, Joel.

Best strings out there! 2 people found this helpfulBest strings I’ve tried so far. What’s better than having Joel’s knowledge and experience select the best strings?! I will be systematically trying them on all my Ukes. Thanks Joel, I can smell the fresh pineapple!
