Uke Logic string sets are made from high quality "super fluorocarbon" aka Super-Carbon. A high-density formula of fluorocarbon that is tonally different from the average fluorocarbon ukulele string. Uke Logic string sets are available as all-plain Super-Carbon and additional options are available for players who prefer metal wound strings in combination with Super-Carbon.

Brought my "dead" ukulele back to life! 0 people found this helpfulI have a Cordoba tenor ukulele with solid cedar top, and laminated back and sides. It is a fairly humble instrument, but was a good friend for a few years. Sadly, it seemed to lose its voice and sustain with a high G set of Aquila strings, and I began to neglect it as playing it gave me no joy at all. I decided one day to order a set of Uke Logic soft tension low G strings on it (with the gold alloy low G). I can hardly believe the transformation! The little Cordoba really sings again, better than ever before, and has sustain and clarity as well as a lovely sweetness. The low G is very pleasant to play and doesn't squeak when changing position. I find the tone across the instrument more even and its dynamic range much improved. I realise that this is probably a bit silly, but I do sometimes attempt to play the slow movement from Mozart's clarinet concerto on my ukulele... these strings make this rather "impossible" task, much more possible as there is now enough sustain and volume in the higher range of this instrument. To sum up.... I am utterly delighted by Uke Logic strings (I also have a set on my Pono baritone), they have brought my Cordoba tenor back to life again, and the sets come with an extra high string too, which is a helpful and generous bonus!

Love, Love these strings 0 people found this helpfulThe term "soft tension" got my attention. I have been playing ukulele for a while and, like most people, have more ukes than I actually need. I had 2 that were somewhat difficult to play. I adjusted the action until they were fine at both the saddle and nut. I tried several strings, but these ukes always just felt more difficult to play probably because the necks were wide and flat. These UkeLogic soft tension High/Low G strings made a HUGE difference. And - BONUS - they sound GREAT! I highly recommend them and I will be getting more.

BEST Strings Ever! 0 people found this helpfulI put a pair of ukulogic soft tension strings on my Kala sold flame maple tenor with cutaway and it made it sound like a completely different ukulele. They sounded awesome, both bright with warm overtones and great clarity and sustain. I had just put on a set of Aquila New Nyla gut strings on my Kala and they were terrible! They were muddy sounding with barely any sustain at all. Ukulogic strings brought my Kala ukulele to life and I couldn’t be happier with them. I will be using them on all of my ukuleles from now on.

Best thing since sliced bread! 2 people found this helpfulThe Uke Logic strings are the best thing since sliced bread! I recently picked up an AMM3 and naturally experimented with different strings. I had gone through the Anuenue Clear Water, The Kala-packaged Worth Strings, Fremont Black Line, and Uke Logic Soft-tension in the past couple of weeks. The Worth strings seemed somewhat muted for a set of fluoro-carbons and had the hardest tension. The Fremont Black Line were bright and made the uke really sparkle, but had too much sparkle IMO. The Uke Logic Soft-tension strings have slightly more tension than the Fremonts, but have enough sparkle and a good amount of warmth—the best balance to my ears. I love the set so much I ordered 3 more sets (of different variations) today from HMS. I know it's subjective but I finally found the right set of strings to give my AMM3 the best voice. Thank you!

Not only are these hands down the best sounding strings I have come across but they feel like velvet. The prompt and incredibly friendly service is like cherries on icing on cake. These strings will impress and the spirit of aloha will spread. Highly highly recommend.... :)
