Beautiful instrument 0 people found this helpfulAfter a series of group beginner lessons, I had to return the low-end loaner instrument. For my first 'ukulele, I wanted to purchase something that was better-than-entry-level but also not over-do it for my level of experience. This beautiful instrument exceeded all of my expectations. It is well made, lovely to look at, has a sweet tone, and with the pro-setup it is fun to play. There is definitely a difference in the sound with the solid mahogany top.

Great Uke! 0 people found this helpfulThis was also my first ukulele, and it was definitely a great starter! I love playing it and it sounds amazing for its price. I got this one while it was on sale with a gig bag and starter kit. It stays in tune very well. Just have to slightly tweak the A string every once and a while. The only problems I have had is that the E peg/tuner is EXTREMELY touchy and is hard to get to the right pitch, but once there I don't have problems for a while. And the E string buzzes or rings a bit ever since I got it. I don't know the cause of this, but I hope it is just the string in which case I could possibly fix this problem. I have had friends with high end Acacia Pono ukuleles that comment on how good it looks and for its sound! Thank you Cordoba! I definitely recommend this uke to beginners. My new Kala Acacia uke is on the way this Christmas and I can't to play it =P
