Ziricote Ukulele from Kala!
This tenor from Kala comes with beautiful Ziricote shown off with a gloss finish. Even though this is a laminate model, it has a super nice tone and a fantastic build quality. We're happy to have this model in from Kala because it offers some real eye candy at an affordable price. It also plays and sounds great.
Take a listen as Kalei gives a raw sound sample of this new tenor.
"The Ziricote Series features rich shades of dark chocolate brown that are contrasted with a honey blonde sap wood along the middle sections and sides. We coated the body with a high gloss finish to make all the details pop and gave it a satin neck to make it the player preferred uke at a great price. Comes equipped with our familiar black knobs, closed geared tuners and black Graphtech Nubone Nut and Saddle."

Beautiful in sight and sound 0 people found this helpfulGorgeous wood, beautifully finished. It sustains notes longer than my solid mahogany ukes, probably because of the Koa wood. Well priced considering its quality, IMO. I have ordered Aquila Lava strings (almost black in colour for extra style and sound) with low G. I have the Aquil Red strings with low G on another acoustic electric cutaway tenor. Love the deeper sound.

Having this quality of a uke, set up by these guys, make me want to play a lot more! 1 people found this helpfulAloha my Friends!!! Top of the day to ya. My sweet wife bought be one 3 months ago for my B-Day. I have done a lot of homework and studying Ukuleles over the last 5 years. I love ukuleles. I have 4 of them, and play when I can. I have to say this was the least expensive Uke I have, It has my favorite sound, and best in quality. I like the sound better than my Mainland cedar top Tenor, and my Leolani zebra wood tenor. I know the sound is super important, but have learned that the set up is more important to me. I feel that the set up offered by these guys is far superior than others. It makes a difference!!! This is definitely a uke you'll want in your collection to play, listen to, and look at!!!! Mahalo, and Blessings!!
