Beautiful Instrument 0 people found this helpfulI played a range of Koaloha’s at HMS and with Corey’s help in discussions around my fingerpicking playing style settled eventually on the KCO-10S. I love it – a beautiful instrument, very well made and so light and well balanced. The spruce has a lovely grain that comes through. The sound is amazing with excellent projection and sustain. I was hesitant about the friction turners and considered swapping them out. In the end I decided to leave them and give them a go. So glad I did, Koaloha’s friction tuners are easy to use. HMS provided an excellent service. I had this instrument shipped to New Zealand, it arrived via FedEx economy in less than a week, and in perfect condition. Both the instrument and buying through HMS are highly recommended.
