Brand New Pepe Romero Design "Grand Tenor"
Pepe Romero has a new design and it's a winner. This is the Grand tenor, slightly larger body size but with the same scale and length as you regular tenor. This one is the all solid beautiful mahogany wood. It has a slightly wider nut spacing (1.5") for comfortable chording and a robust tone you'll love!
We recently went and visited Pepe and upstairs from his workshop in the Romero family house we recorded Daniel Ho. Here Daniel gives us a sound sample of this new Romero Creations model.

This ukulele includes a black oahu hardshell case.

Great Ukulele 2 people found this helpfulThe Romero is my second ukulele. My first is a tenor, but was sub $200 and I wanted something better than that one. I am still a beginner (less than six months playing). The sound of the Romero is excellent and it has a lot of resonance compared to my other ukulele. Really, no comparison. At first it was a little difficult to get used to the Romero, but now I am used to it and I have to say that I love it. I want to play it all of the time. I am now thinking about buying a Romero Concert for my wife whom also plays the Ukulele. I recommend this Ukulele.

Wonderful Instrument 2 people found this helpfulLove this ukulele. The sustain and projection are exceptional. I am so very pleased with the build quality and playability of this fine uke. It does indeed have a richer and cleaner sound than my Córdoba tenor and setup from Hawaiian Music Is wonderful. A bit of the Spanish Guitar vibe is certainly present and melodic tunes are sweet and true. My favorite uke so far by a wide margin.

Excellent - love it! 2 people found this helpfulAbout 15 months ago I started playing the ukulele. I had not played any instruments previously. I started with a pair of $50 dollar eBay and Guitar Center purchases. They actually did alright but had set up short comings that I now understand all too well. Fast forward- I’ve given those instruments away and settled on a Ohana Baritone, a banjolele and a Charango. I was on the prowl for a good tenor ukulele. Of course I was mesmerized listening to all the sound bites on the Ukulele Site. When I heard the Mahogany Grand Tenor I was smitten like a kitten. I ordered it, watched the videos of the set up procedure and waited impatiently for the delivery. So, the review. I love it!
