Portability of a Concert - Feel & Tone of a Tenor!

Most of us ukulele players are open minded. We don't mind things being "out of the box". That's exactly where Pepe Romero and Daniel Ho went to design this new instrument called a Tiny Tenor. It travels like a concert, feels like a tenor, and has an absolutely gorgeous tone.

This is the import, "affordable" version made by Romero Creations. However, these guys did not cut any corners. The workmanship is beautiful and the materials are top notch. But by far, the most standout feature of this instrument is it's sound.

Ditto what everyone else has said! Such a beautiful instrument and sound in a small package! I took mine with me during a National Guard wildfire deployment last summer. One of the guys admitted that he had been thinking about getting a uke for awhile and hearing my Tiny Tenor sealed the deal. Right after he redeployed home, he picked up his own Tiny Tenor. It feels comfortable and "laid back" when playing (if that makes sense) and I really do love the way it sounds. One of my most favorite ukes in my arsenal.

This Uke with a low G has great projection and tone. It is very wRm for a small Uke. The intonation is good and it is very portable. The spruce top is a little soft so use a clear guard on the Uke if your nails tend to dig in.

I just purchased this tiny tenor. It's loud, crystal clear, great playability, super comfortable. I just can't put it down. It's super light weight. This is the cheapest ukulele I ever own yet it captured my heart. I should have bought this sooner !

I was looking for an instrument that wasn't too large that I could keep at my workplace and pull out during breaks to decompress with (which I find the Uke does very nicely). I've really enjoyed the size and tone of the Pono Tenor I have at home and wanted to have a similar tonal quality in a smaller package. I took a gamble a couple months ago with the Tiny Tenor (Spruce with Mahogany) and have been rewarded with an outstanding instrument. The more I play it the more I like it. It is very responsive allowing soft playing (necessary due to my location) but really projecting when I have the opportunity. The tone is rich, even and accurate along the entire fret board. The size is very, very comfortable. The gig bag it came with is eye catching and surprisingly protective though the pocket on it is a bit tight. All in all, I've been extremely pleased.

This is ukulele #45 for me. I have a case of UAS and have tried many different makes and models. I am very impressed with the build quality, the fit and finish was perfect, you can tell it is hand made by skilled craftsmen, The sound from the Romero creations "Tiny Tenor" is huge. I have mainly gravitated to smaller body with tenor scale ukuleles (super concerts) and love that this has the full sound and power of a tenor in such a compact package. The maple body with a spruce top makes it ring. I am also going to order the solid Koa model later this year. Everyone who sees this and strums is impressed. Great job at a affordable step up ukulele for the regular guy. Setup and included case from HMS was great also.
