This is quality in every way. The look, sound, and with the radius fretboard and our custom setup you will love playing this wonderful new ukulele. Mika gives us a sample with the stock Ko'olau Alohi nylon high g set. After that Corey samples it with the Ko'olau Aho fluorocarbon set with the smoothwound low G. This way you can hear it with both high and low G and nylon or fluorocarbon.

The RTSH is crisp, loud, and deep in sound. Cedar has a "broken in" quality, or a sweetness in sound that it takes other woods many years to attain. Along with that is the rich tonality given from rosewood. The custom styled slotted headstock and perfect lacquer gloss finish show an elegant beauty to go with the high-quality sound.
A key feature in all of the Pono tenor and baritone models is the dual-action adjustable truss rod. This is used to stabilize and adjust the lengthwise forward curvature (also called relief), of the neck. It can be adjusted from right inside the soundhole with an allen wrench provided. This is something you will probably not need to adjust. But over time and with humidity changes, it is a very useful option to have, and a very easy thing to adjust.
This classy uke comes in a wooden shaped, custom made hardshell case and also qualifies for free shipping!
