Florentine Walnut Tenor
From Bruce Petros, "Another of our Florentine motifs applied to a tenor with 2000 year old curly Redwood over a spectacular curly Claro Walnut back with a Butternut neck. This combination produces a concert quality instrument that is so light weight it practically floats in your hands. The resonance will astound you. This Uke has a traditional bridge with an inlaid tie block. The body and soundport are bound with Cherry. The fingerboard binding has alternating blocks of curly Maple and Cherry that act as side position markers. The tuners are gold 18:1 Gotoh Stealth tuners. The nut and saddle are vintage amber Buffalo bone."
We are amazed once again with the quality and tone of this Petros custom tenor. You can hear why with this sound sample from Corey.
Since 1972, Bruce Petros has been building unique, custom, handmade instruments for discerning players and collectors. Matthew Petros has been building alongside his father since the year 2000. Building on a 40 year legacy of guitar making, they began building Ukuleles in 2012 and have fallen in love with the instrument, the people and the process.
This one features awesome tonewoods (a quilted redwood top that was around with Jesus & and beautiful figured walnut). This is a very lightweight instrument, very resonant, and filled with beautiful artistic design. We think you're gonna love this ukulele!
