Ono ukuleles are made in Ashland, Oregon by David Ingalls. He made us this ukulele with a one-piece spruce top and gorgeous curly walnut sides and back. The tone on this one is just fantastic. Awesome projection and power with wonderful response everywhere on the neck. Take a listen!
Pictures and video show the instrument now available (if it says "In Stock")!

So what is a 16" scale concert? It's a concert size body but with a one inch longer scale (length of the strings from the saddle to the nut) Concerts are around 15" and concert long necks, aka super concerts, have the tenor 17" scale. So this one sits right in between for a nice mix of the brightness and sustain that you get from a longer scale but with a more relaxed tension and warmth in tone.
This beautiful ukulele has David's cantilevered fingerboard, carbon fiber neck and bridge plate reinforcement, and a lovely gloss finished body and satin neck.
Other features include the side sound port giving more volume back to the player. Also, it has the Gotoh 4:1 gear ratio tuners. They've become a favorite of our for their look, light weight, and smooth precision in tuning and holding pitch. And it's protected with a hand rubbed gloss finish.
This ukulele is extremely easy to play partly because of the 16" fretboard radius it has. This slight curve makes chording even easier and along with nice low action gives you an ukulele you can play for hours.
We are including an arched top concert wooden hard case which fits this uke perfectly! It also includes the Herco humidifier that is upgrade-able in the options on this page.
