This super tenor is brand new from northern California luthier Dave Sigman. Dave is one of our favorite custom builders and this one has a unique art deco design, extremely beautiful Hawaiian koa, bound in faux tortoise shell (no actual tortoises were harmed in the making of this ukulele), a cool message inlayed in the butt strip, a super smooth, easy to play feel, and a gorgeous tone!
Sans Souci is a french term that means: without worry : free of care. A wonderful place to be and a feeling we get when we play the uke. This also plays to the French theme with art deco style smooth design with Resue Pearls Okinawan Sea Snail shell (aka Turbo Shell) and coconut palm wood at the headstock and rosette.
This is a very cool uke like no other we've had. It's the longer 19" scale tenor so you get fantastic clarity and sustain. And even at the longer scale, it plays like a dream.
Little River ukes always sound great and this is one of his best! Corey gives us a raw sound sample.
"Every piece of wood for my ukuleles is carefully selected, and each instrument is constructed with an unwavering approach to the highest quality, and with a deep spirit of Aloha. I personally build each ukulele, one at a time, in my workshop located in Little River, on the beautiful Mendocino Coast of Northern California." -- Dave Sigman
