New Kamaka Tenor HF-3L
Since 1916, that's right, for over an entire century now Kamaka ukulele has not only stayed in business, but have kept it a family run business. There have been advancements with each generation, but all the while they have given the world wonderful instruments made 100% here on the island with excellent, instrument grade Hawaiian Koa.
The 19" scale tenor is something the Kamaka brothers have been doing within the family for years but never released for the public until a few years back. It gives a special tone that really sparkles and sustains beautifully.
Coreyi gives us a sound sample from this batch of HF-3L. These recordings are unaltered and we are dedicated to showing true tone.
This year's HF-3L sounds awesome, looks classy, and feels great! Plus these new Schaller tuners, velvet smooth to the touch, and with gorgeous snakewood buttons.
This tenor is two inches longer than a standard tenor and an inch less than a baritone scale. You can hear the bright and sweet upper register. The extra length really puts a bite that sparks the energy of this instrument.
It's a tenor-sized body and fits into a tenor case. It's tuned GCEA. You can really experiment with other tunings as well because it can handle a lower pitch. You can even get away with a sweet short scale baritone if you ever wanted to.
Includes the excellent Kamaka hardcase.
