This is a new custom tenor built by Beau Hannam. Originally from Australia, Beau now builds in Grand Junction, Colorado (USA). It's obvious that Beau is in pursuit of greatness and he trained with one of the best, master builder Gerard Gilet. The tone on this ukulele is big and bold with great volume, clarity, and sustain. This tenor ukulele has many upgrades from Beau's standard build including the coveted Brazilian rosewood sides and back, cutaway body, side sound port, 16" radius fretboard, decorative end graft, mosaic headstock and rosette, and gold Waverly tuners with ebony buttons. Other features include a high gloss nitrocellulose finish, ebony bindings on the body, neck, and headstock with mitered purfling joints, African blackwood fingerboard with pearl dots, Spanish cedar neck with contoured heel, walnut burl back plate, Evo gold fret wire, a beautiful mother of pearl nut, and an engraved pearl logo inlayed on the headstock.
