Aaron Oya Custom Spruce Koa Tenor
We only get a handful of Aaron's custom creations each year and they always sound great. This one is no exception and along with a beautiful tone is gorgeous woods and a superb feel. Check out a raw sound sample from Corey on this latest custom tenor from Hawaiian builder Aaron Oya.
This is one of the best cuts of spruce I've seen. Tight grained and when you see "silking" like this you know it's perfectly quarter sawn. The koa has a very unique figuring we practically never see. Almost quilted with all kinds of stuff going on as you turn it in the light. Of course showing off and protecting the wood is a gloss nitrocellulose finish.
Koa bindings, rosewood fretboard and bridge, Aaron's own radial bent koa rosette, a Spanish cedar neck with a carbon fiber rod to reinforce it, also includes the arched top hardshell case which fits perfectly. This ukulele comes strung with Savarez strings.
This is an awesome Hawaiian custom and we are excited to showcase it here for you. If it says "In Stock" then the pictures and video show the exact ukulele now available to you!
