The spalt patterns in this wood have incredible detail! When given the butterfly effect of book matching wood, these designs get quite psychedelic! (in a natural, earthy way) The Maple is paired with a solid, Sitka spruce top and mahogany binding on the back and sides.

Even though the model is “Flame Maple”. These have been coming with a beautiful spalted maple. The spalt gives each one its own unique naturally made lines that, when book matched, are a beautiful display of nature and art.
