I bought a used KCM-00 from someone who got it as a wedding gift and "never played it". It is a 2006 model with a one piece front and back.
It plays great, sounds great and projects like crazy. It is audible hammering out rhythm with a dozen violins, and plays quiet solo fingerstyle just as nicely. I'm not crazy about the Christian symbolism of the logo and the headstock design, but I love the soundhole shape, the playability and the tone!
